Situation in Mayotte
Following the passage of cyclone Chido in Mayotte, Ofpra's office in Mamoudzou is temporarily closed.

As a result of the damage, it is no longer possible to welcome users. Users are therefore asked not to attend. Asylum seekers awaiting a decision who had an appointment with Ofpra in the next few days will be contacted shortly. Information will also be issued as soon as possible on how to resume activities. In an emergency, Ofpra can be contacted at communication[a]ofpra.gouv.fr. Ofpra expresses its deep support for the many people affected by the cyclone.
